Giovinco-Cassano swap suggested

Friday 20 March, 2009
Juventus are reportedly planning a summer assault for Sampdoria star Antonio Cassano and could even offer co-ownership of Sebastian Giovinco.

The Bianconeri have made no secret of their admiration for former Real Madrid man Cassano.

However, Doria sporting director Beppe Marotta has ruled out any transfer involving the Bari native.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Juve may try and use rising star Giovinco as bait by offering co-ownership of the 'Atomic Ant' as well as £12m.

There are reports that the two clubs conducted preliminary negotiations last month and that Samp are willing to consider the deal.

While the Bianconeri are clearly determined to lure Cassano, it remains to be seen whether they would be willing to loosen their grip on Giovinco, who is widely regarded as a key man in the club's future.

Giovinco was guest at the same show Legrottaglie was and he said that he sympathized with Milan in the early 90's.I couldn't care less though,he practically got brainwashed after going through the Juve youth.

Oh and the rumors are laughable.

I don't know that I'm happy or not.
As Juve's fan, I want Giovinco to stay
But as a Giovinco's fan I want him to go to another club because Juventus doesn't want him

Corriere dello Sport
CORRIERE DELLO SPORT
CORRIEREEEEEEE DELLOOOOOOO SPOOOOOOORT

How many times do i have to tell you not to even think about what's writen in an article if you see that it's from Corriere. If you can read Italian and you read Corriere you will see AT LEAST 5 such rumors about different teams and players EVERY SINGLE DAY, and when it's mercato time they have around 20 such rumors.
They never use quotes, they don't even have insiders, they just try to connect some dots and count how much 1+1 gives. The problem is that their answer to that question is always 3 or 4 or 40, but it's never 2.

But at least they are fair and they never say "This will happen" or "This happened", the way Tuttosport does. They always say "This might happen" or "This might be one of the options".
