I browsed a lot through Italian Juve Forums like j1897.com and vecchiasignora.com and surprisingly a bunch of people are starting to doubt Giovinco's ability to play in Serie A.

My first reaction was "WTF?".Then I realized that they might be right. The question is not whether Giovinco is good enough,no one can doubt his talent. The question is:Is he able to play in Serie A despite being so small and relatively weak?Every time an opponent touches him he falls to the ground and the problem is that he doesn't always get a freekick.

It's not like he's old(22) but compared to other players at his age(Aguero,Messi &Co.) he achieved absolutely nothing. You might say that this is Ranieri's fault because he doesn't field him,but why shouldn't he field him?The fact that he fields Marchisio shows that he's willing to count on youngsters. The main problem is that Ranieri doesn't exactly know where to field him and as long as it stays like that he won't ever explode.

If it was up to me I'd field him in place of Nedved from now on,constantly! This way we see if he's up to the task to be our future #10.

Did we all expect too much of him?Did we even overrate him?Or is it solely Ranieri's fault? Please discuss.

Of course, everyone over-rated him here. He is not Serie A material, he is Spanish league material and will shine in Villareal with Rossi.

I think he's one of the most talented players in Europe and I think he just needs to get used to the fact that this isn't Spain or something.

I think we still didn't find his perfect position.Sounds weird but we play him everywhere...He played everywhere. When he shined as an AML his position was changed to support striker or it happened vice versa before.

Lavezzi is not that strong either but he's amazing. It's not like he's not for Italy.

I still have high hopes for him.

If you really think so, then you don't watch Juve matches.. Yesterday true he was terrible, that's because he used as a forward (at firts half), and the rest of the team sucked horribly, Giovinco can't play alone, he needs players like Camoranesi, Del Pie to show us his wonder. It's only one bad match and you guys already gave up on him :pumpkin:

he shined as a free role LM, and not AML. Giovinco is not a winger!! don't forget most of his wonders worked in the center, when he moved form left to center, or from center to forward, with one-two passes with Del Pie.

Edit: I confused it with LW, so everything is cool :D
