I was looking at the first pages of this topic. Back from our serie B days.
I'm really proud we were right since the very beginning. I certainly ain't, and i know Dom and Andy also aren't guys who jump to hype up every young player, but this time we all felt that this one is special.
We also did it with Hamsik when no-one knew him and i still stand behind what i said about Jovetic about a year ago that he'll make it.
The three of us should work as scouts

Good finds there. I was really concerned about the loan though, but I'm glad he still turned out well and came back right away.

i don't care how much he wowed everyone today, he obviously fell subject to our goal coma after amauri's opener and ended up just like everyone else on our attack.

i'm in no way blaming him for the result. i'm just not liking everyone sucking his nuts cuz he played well against a far more inferior team. yet we still drew 1point from todays encounter. hmmm....

He did his part, man. You're obviously more team-oriented than most of us, which is good: win as a team, lose as a team, for the good of the team, etc...BUT...Giovinco's performance this past game was particularly important because he adds the spark that this team needs. And it's not his fault that Amauri and Del Piero couldn't finish their chances. Evidently, that's important if you want to score goals.

Ofcourse any player can adopt to new positions 35 year old or 16, I am not arguing about that vlat. All I am saying that I am not sure if Giovinco can play on the wing, breaking defense making crosses and all, I just don't believe he has that abilities. I am not an expert (like some of the members here pretend to be), but from what I saw about Giovinco, his specialty is making wonderful passes, distributing the ball to the best available places with almost perfect passes, he reminds me Zidane's (agains talking about positions and not skills ) job than C.Ronaldo's.
