I think yesterdays match against Zenit would have been perfect for Gio. Camo got injured and the creativity in the midfield stalled. A player, like Giovinco who can slide through a compact defence on his own would be very welcomed on the pitch.
But i still think Ranieri did the right thing leaving him out of the squad for this match.
Giovinco needs to gain juve-experience before he can contribute in such an important and difficult Champions leagug clash.

Ranieri is a wise man, and his plan with Seba is to slowly and forstanding give him this juve-experience in games like our next against Cagliari. I have an odd feeling that Sebastian Giovinco will make a difference in matchday 6 in St.Petersburg. Its a cold and dark December night, but il magico is gonna burn down the entire field with his sprints down the wing!:xmas:

We don't have creativity. Ranieri knows it and i am sure that after January one of these will be in our first team plans...
Why are you so sure that two 19 year old's will shine in the "creativity" department? Bare in my mind, that gio hasn't gotten any playing time yet.

When camo is fit, our creativity problems are dead.

Dude Camo can't just be our only creativity force. In big matches you will have 2 or 3 players marking Camo and then the team would be dead. Ranieri is starting to give DC some playing time. He has also given some time to Marchisio. No it is Giovinco's time. If we don't sign anyone in January, i am sure that someone of the 2 youngsters will step up...

You dont ned 4 CR7S in a team, to call it creative. Camoranesi del piero and even zanetti are creative. Not to mention giovinco, our team is super good right now. When gio and camo get to play together, hell will arise for our opponents.

Did you find much creativity in yesterday's match?
Not quite, no. Camo was injured and got replaced by sali a more defensive player. Add to this the fact that zenith never left any spaces in the middle, they played with 5 midfielders. I'm also not against ranieris decision to bring in brazzo, I wouldn't want to risk putting giovinco at right wing he never played better and hes still very inexperienced.

As for our general "creativity problems", we have nedved camo giovinco zanetti del piero and even amauri, who are all all technically gifted some with flair and passing others with the art of blowing pass defenders OR BOTH.

We did lack a spark yesterday, but this will be resolved pretty soon we have the players.

I hope so, but it's not resolved yet despite creative players that you mentioned
Last year most of our creativity problems were against the smaller teams and the middle teams. We beat the big teams tactically and with sheer passion and heart more than anything. If the signs are right from the first two games of the season then our creativity problems are less this season than they were last season.

Just look at the amount of chances created in the udinese game, an astonishing amount. Imo we will see more of the same with zanetti and gio stepping up to the plate and giving the team an extra push. Also De Ceglie will give us a bit of structure from the full back position and even marchisio is not bad on the ball himself.

Things are looking good in theory but lets hope they are in reality starting from the calgiari game.

Why didn't Ranieri put Marchionni in??? I was hoping for something like that. Ok Sali is more experienced in Europian cups, but Marco would give us creativity and more attacking options...

And i don't think Zanetti has flair and creativity. Not enough for big games...
