Does everyone here thinks Giovinco is some sort of super saviour for our midfield department. I watched him during the Olympics and other that super goal against a lowly Honduras he didnt set the world alight. We are thinking about him terrorizing Milans defense when he cant even break a Belgiums defense without their star player Kompany and not to forget he was inexistant in the Cameroon match. I really hope he is the answer and he will prove me wrong but i think we are putting too much hype on this player. I remember before the Olympics there were even claims that his as good as Messi.

i watched every game in the Olympics, he was pretty good seeing that was thae spark in the MF. other than the game against the cameroon he did well. in the Belguim match all the Italy team was off and they could have easily won if the Viviano didn't suck and they were awarded all penalties that should have been given, that match was a joke. it was really obvious that the players gaveup directly after the third goal. anyway Gio only could improve with players like Dp and Camo and Buffon on his side

He hasnt assisted Del Piero, it was only that Trez goal, what a clear sign of quality that was. This unknown little midget immediately brilliantly assists Le Roi like it was nothing.
