Elkaan: Giovinco Is Staying
Juventus heir John Elkaan has revealed that the club has no intention of selling Sebastian Giovinco.
Giovinco is currently on loan at Empoli but he is set to return with the Bianconeri for next season.
The young playmaker has attracted interest from several clubs and it has been reported that Palermo want him in order to allow Amauri to move to Juventus.
The Bianconeri are not giving in to the Rosanero’s demands which could mean that Amauri won’t be wearing a Juve jersey nest season.
“We want to keep Sebastian Giovinco at all costs,†said Elkaan.
“He will be vital for next season given our Champions League and Serie A ambitions.
“We will try to strengthen our squad with some quality players as our primary objective will be to do well in Europe.
“We have available resources to do well in the transfer market and we will try to do this in the best way possible.â€
The Bianconeri will have to qualify for the Champions League group stage via the preliminaries after failing to reach second place in Serie A this term.
Juve play Sampdoria on Saturday night because of TV rights where as Serie A’s remaining games take place on Sunday.

No need to be. He is the Owner of Juventus, or the President of the company that owns Juve. He has no reason to make a cheap statement that is untrue or such. Actually uncommon for us that the owner of Juve makes a specific comment about a young Juve player (Lapo isnt unlike John, Lapo also makes many populistic comments all the time).
I say this because I have also read that the Amauri deal is completed. We all know Giovinco is included in that deal so it doesn't really add up in the end.
The management confirmed Giovinco is coming back only a few weeks ago only to say that it would be okay to see him go on a loan deal. They seem to change their minds everyday this management of ours so untill I see Giovinco sign a contract with us, I will remain skeptical of this whole thing.

But that's the thing, Osman. One weird comment. Perhaps that's one weird comment on one weird day during the month, which could then be followed by another weird comment, or decision, when Gigli or these other morons have a brain fart. And yes, saying that Giovinco could be loaned out again was an inane decision in itself because who the hell would think that's a good idea?

One weird comment followed by another?.That was an idiotic comment on one person's part but he is not the only one who matters.And still..in this case,the idiotic comment that you keep coming back to was followed by denial,and it was preceeded by silence too.The comment was made by one idiot.Had they really wanted to sell Giovinco then Ranieiri wouldnt have said that he's untouchable.Secco never said anything..and nor did Ranieri.Its obvious where the majority of the board wants Giovinco to be next season - Juventus.
