Im not even talking about the other transfer targets.Im only talking about Giovinco. You're brining up Gigli over and over again, forgetting than he is not the only one who matters.I never said that we had a perfect board, because we dont. They've made mistakes, and we do need a better board. You can blame them for a lot of things, but blaming the entire board for a comment made by one idiot is wrong.Especially since that comment was neutralised by Ranieri...and also, since now its become even more clear that Giovinco will stay here. For crying out loud, the Amauri deal could collapse because the majority of the board dont want to give them Giovinco.Dont tell me you STILL think that Giovinco's going to Palermo.
Giovinco could still be loaned out by the words of Gigli. Those were his words, and people have to be trusted by their words. Words are everything. Without them, we're a bunch of insects.

Are you an insect, Salman?

And Ranieri's words were...?You believe Gigli, but you dont believe Ranieri?
The reason why your argument is wrong is because you forget what happened to one of our legends, Deschamps. Not that I'm surprised or anything.

Remember, the reason why he left was because others in the group wouldn't allow him to the run the transfer show. That was the exact cited reason why Didier left us... because our management didn't give him respect.

And if you don't respect a legend such as Didier, you're a fucking douchebag.

Stop brining up something that has go nothing to do with Giovinco's situation.

You said you trust a person's word. You trust what Gigli said. But you're not willing to trust what Ranieri said. You want the board out of here a bit too bad, which is why you'll believe everything that gives you a reason to hate them.Yet you'll conveinently disregard something good from their side.

God, you're such a...

Who has more power than Ranieri?

That's right, thank you. The other party in this discussion. Mr. Affleck and Ms. Lopez.

Now move along, dude. You're pissing me off with how you're soooooo not knowledgeable about any of the topics we've discussed tonight. Perhaps you should go back to talking about Cassano or something. Sure, he's a good player. Perhaps he's even better than ETO'O!!

Very classy.

You write something. Then claim otherwise. And now you want to move along, with a typical Andy 'I know it All' response.

So we've moved on.You are King.

Like I said, who has more power, Ranieri or Gigli? The latter does, so what Ranieri says doesn't matter, unless the board changed their mind. Perhaps they did, because they never had respect for a legend such as Deschamps. Why do you disregard him, Salman? That man loves this club but didn't want anything to do with this new board. Jeez, I wonder why.

Sometimes I wonder why I even argue with some of you people. You clearly forget facts and what people have done for this club. From Bettega to Deschamps.

Ofcourse Gigli does have more power, but Ranieri does matter. If the board can sign Tiago and Sissoko on his demands, then why cant they not give away a player on his demands?Atleast give them credit for changing their minds for the better and blocking Giovinco's move to Palermo.

And what disregard for Deschamps are you talking about? When did i ever even talk about him?

Once again I have to correct you. Remember, Ranieri stated they were forced into buying Tiago because they couldn't sign Sissoko at the time, the latter Claudio didn't want. In fact, Ranieri never wanted Tiago. He wanted Sissoko.

Give them credit for blocking Giovinco's move to Palermo? Isn't that like you or I blocking our own moves from shooting ourselves in the head?! Christ Jesus!

And I won't get into Deschamps anymore. You're obviously not following along; I won't waste my time.

To be honest, Gigli didn't say Giovinco will be 100% loaned out. He said that a loan might be good for him and that he is a special player and that he is undecided about this. I have to give Salman some credit in this debate. The board is definitely not considering selling 100% of Giovinco's contract and maybe they don't want to sell even 50% of his contract. I think that is a good sign. I can't wait till this saga is over though. FFS, Giovinco's position within the club should not even be debated. He should be one of the untouchables.

But still, anybody who would even ponder loaning out Giovinco again is a moron. He's our own goddamn talent and he's our most promising talent. How anyone can say we mihgt loan him and defend this crap makes my fucking stomach turn.

Juve target title and Giovinco Wednesday 14 May, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus will target the Scudetto above all else next season, insists patron John Elkann, and that means keeping Sebastian Giovinco.

“We will adopt a transfer strategy in line with the resources at our disposal, preparing the moves so that we can maintain results over a period of time,” said the new President of Ifil, the company owned by the Agnelli family.

“Next year we will fight for first place, because our objective is to always get into Europe from now on.”

It has already been a remarkable campaign for the side that spent last season in Serie B, as they have finished in the top three and qualified for the Champions League preliminary round.

Next term they aim to capture their first Scudetto since the Calciopoli scandal and the two titles stripped from the record books in 2004-05 and 2005-06.

Among the transfer stories debated in the peninsula at the moment is the claim that Palermo want Giovinco in exchange for Amauri, which is why the move for the Brazilian has collapsed.

“We will do everything we can to keep Giovinco with us,” said Elkann.

"He is a great player and we need people of that level, because soon there will be the preliminary round. It’s going to be a tough summer and we’ll be fighting on many different fronts.”

Support striker Giovinco was the undoubted star of the title-winning Juventus youth team and spent this season on loan at Empoli.

To say the truth i agree with andy here, there r many signs that giovinco is staying with juve next season (ranieri, elkan comments) but gigli did say that loaning giovinco out is good for him:melayyanandmessi: . One can expect anything from our board. Blanc said that flamini wants us and he's a juve supporter and in less than a week he signed for milan !!! I totally understand andy's point of view this board is just unpredictable and thats scares the shit out of me.......

Andy i can tell you are a very intelligent person, but what annoys me about you is that you dont like admitting to anything that somebody is arguing against you. This is not a stab at you, i dont want an argument like we once had..
in regards to what you and salman are discussing: sure Gigli has more power than Ranieri, BUT he was hired to manage to the team, and by that he has a major say in who we sign and sell. Regardless if Gigli thinks that it would be good for Giovinco to go out on loan, if Ranieri wants him in his team for next season, then so be it Ranieri should have his way. Because if he didnt, then for example half way down next season we are performing badly and the board decide to sack Ranieri, he has every right to be annoyed that he didnt have full control over the team and transfers. In regards to Deschamps, it surely was sad how he left Juventus, but im sure there were many issues behind the scenes that we dont know about. I hope you can catch my drift here.. instead of making an argument similar to the one you and salman were having earlier.
