Giovinco played for 62 minutes in the 4 - 0 demolish against Cagliari

He is inspirational as he is involved again in creating 2 of Pozzi's goals and in tormenting Cagliari's defence.

Due to his injury, he has to leave, and has received a standing ovation from the Empoli curva.

Looks like Giovinco is definitely needed if Empoli is to survive in Serie A

I Was Frustrated At Leaving Juventus, Reveals Giovinco

Empoli midfielder Sebastian Giovinco spoke about his disappointment at leaving the Bianconeri this summer, but also revealed that he is now maturing into a better player with his new club.

Sebastian Giovinco is one of the most interesting young players to have come out of Italy in the past few years and Empoli are trying to get the best out of him before he returns to Juventus at the end of the season.

However, the young Italy Under-21 star declared that he did not want to leave the Old Lady this summer, even though in the end it helped his career.

"The frustration of leaving Juventus was there, but only because I left a great club and my family," revealed the Empoli player.

"However, I believe that I made the right choice because here at Empoli the young players grow well."

Giovinco then spoke about his height of 164cms, which some believe can become a problem as he plays consistently against the physical markers consistently.

"Now I am used to it, but even the small players can do well and in Italian football there are many examples, even in the recent past."

One of these players was surely Gianfranco Zola, who has often been compared to Giovinco.

"The comparison honours me, also because I see Zola with the Under 21 national team and he was an incredible player," he added.

"However, the comparison does not exist because I still have a lot to prove. I hope to continue like this."

This boy must return to us. We don´t need a new offensive midfielder. Giovinco will provide us with creativity and he has that much needed spark. Hopefully he will be ready for Juve next season.

now that's overrating! I just hope he doesn't turn another Miccoli, it is in our hands to ruin his career or not.

Actually any team will want Giovinco in their team

Since his family and friends are based in Turin, it is best to let him finish his career in Juventus. Give him to chance to play.

Goal.com's brief description of his goal-

Empoli, meanwhile, hadn't quite hit the heights of their own 4-1 thrashing of Cagliari, but they did take a lead in at the interval as Giovinco seized on a poor clearance by Masiella to beat Rubinho.
