Zanetti VS any fullback you can think of.... would you still say the same?

Kuyt is a very limited player talent wise but he is a work horse. That gets him an average of 12 goals and around 5/6 assists and thats while playing mostly out of position.

Balotelli is one of the most talented players in the world yet with the worst work ethic ever in training and on the pitch... would you rather have a disinterested balotelli or an interested pazzini for example?
Are you implying that Zanetti is that good? and Work Rate doesn't relate to Interest.

I'm sorry but you're not making any sense. How is Pazzini not talented?

I'll tell you what, I'd rather have a disinterested Ronaldinho that an over zealous Amauri if that answers your question.

Zanetti? I respect him but he's far from the greatest. I'd rather have Maicon(last year) than Zanetti without a question.

Kuyt's hard working would be useless if the talented players are not playing liverpool example, torres and gerrard or any other team. IF you don't have talented players hard working players won't win you a game.

What about Seba's brother, he is still at primavera? Is he better than Seba?

Kuyt is a horrible example. I think Lampard is a good one. He wasn't very athletically inclined as a kid and now he's one of the best in the world due to hard work, practice and determination.

Someone talented and without discipline is someone like Cassano or Balotelli and quite honestly, someone like Lampard has a much bigger impact on the team, especially on the long run.

I love you, Buck Fuddy.
Likewise!

Very conflicting statements, nonsensical at best. De Ceglie has usually looked poor when he's played for the side, and arguably still plays poorly now. He's received his chances, didn't really impress (not more so than Giovinco), yet you defend one over the other. I can only imagine why that would be possible.

Fact of the matter is, other players can be horrible and receive more chances on the pitch, while someone like Giovinco is under far more scrutiny because of a reputation. Yet when it comes down to it, he's a better player than those that continue to receive chances... it's just that revisionists have a struggle to evaluate a player clearly without built reputation coming into the mix.
I'm a revisionist

I don't understand how saying DC has improved, while Giovinco has not is defending one over the other though. I'm not smart enough for that.
Kinda like you don't understand how a lot of people liking Barca is not the same as me personally liking Barca.

Now that just a load of BS. He didn't get chances here in Juventus and thats a fact. Also, those teams you are mentioning, did you just pull them out of your ass? The funny thing is that Seba played his best games in Juventus against both Bologna and Catania, oh the irony.

And DC improving? Yeah sure, but he can improve as much as he want and still he wont have the same impact on the field as Seba did during those games he got to play on the wing, especially during the first season with Ranieri when he was our leading assist man after Del Piero although he was benched all the time for Nedved. A player who achieved that deserved to get more chances here, not like DC or other old players who don't deserve shit.

Look, I know its fun to provoke all those "Giovinco fanboys" on this forum but next time, try to do it right.
He got his chances all right: He was fielded 48 times in his Juventus career.

And when or how did I provoke you, or any of the other "Giovinco fanboys"? If stating my opinion is the same as provoking someone, then maybe that certain someone who is provoked should start saving money. You know, to buy a brain.
Or should we all just agree that Giovinco never played a bad game? Sorry, I just can't do that.

Oh, and I assume you're not talking about last season's games against Bologna & Catania, right? Considering he managed to be one of the worst players in both those games. Not an easy thing to achieve, if you remember how awful the entire team was. Ironic huh?

Dissapointingly convenient post Buck. Expect more from you then this BS, heh :p
Sorry to disappoint you.

The implication was there, started with Bucks post.
Where did I mention DC is a better player?
What I said is that DC has improved (albeit not enough yet to be considered a good option for our LB spot), Giovinco has not.

For the record, and for all those who have trouble reading, I do not hate Giovinco. And I would like him to prove something since he still is a "true" Juventus youth product.
I just don't see it happening anymore.

He scored two goals today not because we don't have forwards but because his positioning was right and he can finish. Has nothing to do with us being a man down.
