Giovinco has talent, yes. To play for a big team and perform on the highest level? I doubt so.

He is the kind of player for a team like Palermo or Sampdoria and nothing else.

Nope, he spent seasons on the bench and not once did he complain to the media.

Now since he comes out to say he doesn't care about Juventus because we don't care about him, the rats come out of the woodwork and claim he has an attitude problem.

Utter Bullshit.

Can you tell me who else I should listen to, please?

You see, I have trouble making up my mind about things like this and really need someone to offer me guidance.

The guy is just not good enough.

He's the most overrated Juventus player I've ever seen.

Seriously, why do you support a team that you can't stand in every aspect? What's the draw? You hate the management, you hate more than 1/2 the squad, you hate the league they play in, you hate the country they play in...seriously...what's the attraction?

You can claim he's not good enough. Perhaps he's not. But claiming that he has an attitude problem just because he isn't bending over backwards to provide lip service to a team that doesn't play him and sends him on loan is just nonsense. This is the same sort of crap applied to several players who are loaned out or sold. If they don't turn around and kiss Juve's ass, they are said to have attitude problems or are simply terrible players. Not once did Giovinco "whine" about not getting time... he sat on the bench and minded his own business. I know Juventus fans love thinking they can do no wrong in the world, but this sort of reaction is purposely disregarding the real issue.

And I don't need to answer your question, nor do I care to do so. You hate several facets of the United States, yet you're still here. Nobody needs to ask you why you're still here, nor do you have to answer them. It is what it is.

He does whine. Giovinco is not the first reject by Juventus and will not be last. No one has whined more in recent history than he has. He needs to shut up. What he's doing is disrespectful. Matter of fact if Juve weren't in such state that it is in post-Calciopoli he wouldn't have the balls to speak out.

Well it's not the same thing, it's foreign policy where I disagree with this country and last I checked you and I are pretty much on the same page when it comes to that.

He can whine. He plays for a different team. We didn't give him a chance. He kept his mouth shut while sitting on our bench. I don't know what else some of you want from him.

So no, I'll in fact raise you one and say that the likes of you need to shut up and get off your Juventus fan pedestal. If we don't want to totally ruin our reputation with young players, we best start now. And that means stop treating the youngsters like dog shit and bargaining chips.

Giovinco thinks 'zero' about Juve
Sebastian Giovinco admits he no longer thinks about Juventus since joining Parma this summer.

The 24-year-old playmaker is bitter about his treatment in Turin and feels he deserved more playing time.

Interviewed in Il Corriere dello Sport, Giovinco was asked how often he thinks about Juventus.

“Zero,” he said.

The fact Juventus still own half of Giovinco's contract doesn't seem to bother him.

“My present is this. And I only want to think about Parma. The rest doesn't count.”

Giovinco then turned his attention to Alessandro Del Piero, the Juventus captain.

“He hasn't called me. Besides, it's not as if he called me when I was at Juve.

“And anyway he never said anything about me, like about a possible relay between me and him [in the Juventus side].

Nothing wrong with these comments whatsoever. He's just telling the truth. If he said he cared about Juve right now that wouldn't go over so well with his fans at the Tardini.

Think a little bit before posting.

How can Giovinco not be good enough yet produce something every time he played, even if it was a few minutes? They guy always did something like create opportunites/assists that would make our mids drool over.

Giovinco hating again :howler:

I don't understand the "he wasn't given a chance" argument. Who in their right mind would not keep him if he's as good as people say he is? I mean we've fielded some of the worst footballers in top football. You got your Molinaro, De Ceglie, Palladino...and Giovinco is no where near as bad as they are. Do you guys think Juventus has some personal vendetta against Giovinco?

And what has he done outside of Juve to rave about? At least Criscito gets called up to the NT. When was the last time Giovinco was called up?
