I disagree there, Seba was still not 100% match fit when Zacc took over the team and still had some time on the pitch even if it was only 5 minutes. While Seba was injured in the last game against Bolognia.

I dunno why, but i have a good feeling about this coach especially regarding this talent's situation.
It was 1 minute and only because Amauri got accidentally slightly injured. You can't call that "some time on the pitch"

in some weird way,not so logical, but ... Del Pieros good form is "enemy" of Giovinco heh
Del Piero's return from injury was the enemy of Giovinco. No chance the formation would be changed to drop the captain to accommodate the midget.

I think Giovinco can be more than a substitute player, I've seen him do a lot on the pitch when he starts and look at how many goals we score with him playing. Our squad will finally use wingers which are for me essential in a modern game which focuses a lot on quick movement and fluidity of play.

You look like you want to defend Ciro and say he did something good but not really. He was fit 90% of the time under Ciro while being constantly ignored. He played a lot less than supposed to and it all goes on Ciro's shoulders. Zaccheroni is following his footsteps it seems.

I'm not saying there's a good formation for both him and Del Piero, but he is being destroyed here from every point of the view.
90% of the time? Not quite. At the start of the season, Diego missed a few games and Giovinco got time in that position. It didn't really suit him and he performed poorly, he got outmusled constantly. Then a bit later on the formation wasn't convincing, so Ciro reverted to the 4-5-1 in which Giovinco was the key element. Then subsequent events of DP returning and chaotic and disastrous results (Bordeaux) saw Ciro drop the formation and Giovinco. Giovinco missed most of the time we were in deep crisis through injury.

In the 4-5-1 he picked Tiago over Giovinco. That says enough.

You have some points but it's not as simple as that. Giovinco has played 670 minutes, which is less time than Iaquinta who is always out injured. There was a time he played and some time where he couldn't cut in. But most of the time he was rooting on the bench while other got the chance. When Del Piero was off form/injured, others got the chance. Usually De Ceglie or even Marchisio on the left. Ciro gave him 0 chances. It's not like we're so great so he doesn't have a place. I'd play him even on the right but no, our coaches would easily prefer Sali or even Marchisio there, yet again.

I would definitely play Giovinco on the right, because I beleive that his tehnical capabilities will alow him to do well, but maybe it is a big gamble

I understand that some of you like Giovinco and want him to be given a proper chance, in fact I also do. But it has been almost 2 seasons now, and the constant whining after every single match is really getting old and frustrating.

I don't know if its luck or something else. But every time there is excitement about him starting to play, and he gets a few games then his form drops or/with the team. Happened last year where it started with a couple of good games against Catania and in the CL then his form dropped distinctly against Palermo. Same this year as Dom said.

Its criminal that hes not getting the run of games where he could go through dips and peaks then he could sustain his form. Its a combination of factors, luck, his consistency and how he could impose himself, the team's form and the fact that he could really only excel in one position.

Anyway we will need him at some point imo, so lets hope he gets back soon.
