To say he was very bad is ridicolous :lol: No one in Italy was very bad to begin with, Gio failed with his chances, but still had a very good game, especially when he was played more central.

Gio is far better in a central position than out wide. Casiraghi needs to see this.
Naa, I think he is so much better playing out wide. He should play like Messi does in Barcelona and beat his defenders from the sides. Giovinco is too small to play central cuz the opponents defensive midfielder could make it pretty hard for him and there is less space to work on for Giovinco in the middle.

Agree 100% and anyone who watched him play this past season should know this as well.

4-3-3 is the formation that suits him most, even himself said it in an interview 2 years ago. Unfortunately, it's not the best formation for Italy now that they lack good DMs.
