and make de ceglie our first choice left back?
No. I said we should have bought a better left-back in place of Moli.

Systems should be changed on the premise of optimising the squad at your disposal. If that means changing system to accomdate a rather unexperienced youngster, then so be it.
Agreed to a certain extent. But Seba can also be used as a leftie cutting inside.

i still think he is not ready.
When will he be ready then? There are all sorts of players who are 19 years old playing for their clubs and doing well, so why not Giovinco? Is he not good enough?

which would mean no chance for de ceglie

lets make one thing clear. he is no messi or aguero. he is talented but not that talented. Slowly, but surely, he should be given a chance at Juventus' first team (just as it says in poll option 2) do you really think he is ready to lead juventus to scudetto? he couldnt even manage to save empoli from relegation.

So we didn't sign a left-back just to keep Molinaro and slowly bring DC into matches? We don't even know if DC is a suitable player for left-back anyway as he started off as a left-winger.

What sort of fecked up strategy is this? :wth:

Man, stop trying to defend all of the stuff we do. This is pure bullshit argument here.

Only because he has less experience and has had less of a chance to express himself so far.

Save empoli from relegation? I thought squads were made of 22+ players + staff, not just of one player?

That's highly debatable. First of all, Messi was lucky enough to be in a team like Barca where youth is promoted and encouraged. At Juve, people seem to think that a player isn't ready untill he's 25. It's tradition more than anything else.
I'm not saying he is better than Messi but he is in the same level if not better than Pato. If Pato is getting first team football then I don't see why Gio shouldn't. He isn't short of talent and he has monstrous playmaking abilities, exactly what this team need.

How can you be convinced he isn't ready to lead Juve when he hasn't even gotten the chance? I say we take a gamble and try him out. Let's play a diamond midfield which would give him the traquerista role, if he performs badly then at least we tried and will have no regrets. We can then move on.

If he succeeds, a new era at Juve might have just begun. The only difference between Giovinco and Messi, Fabregas, Pato, Aguero is not lack of talent, it is lack of faith from his coach, and even some fans.

again you're discussing his playing time after one game??? ffs
No, i simply said that he should get a chance to prove himself. And what game do you mean, Artmedia? That was like 15min, its dumb to judge someone on that little time, like some people here did. As for Serie A, he's gonna get his chance. Maybe he will have a slow start, doesn't mean we should write him off.

sometimes DP plays worse than that and for the whole match ...... but he is the best ... i think he should start soon just like marchisio .......
Im not one of those people...
When a player plays badly, I say he played bad today.
When they play badly for a few consecutive weeks, I say he needs to get benched. When they play badly for the entire season, I say he needs to get sold.

:D

No seriously, Gio needs to take his time. CR isn't the type to overlook youth players just because they're youth players. He'll get his chance. We've only played 3 official games ffs.

He isnt fucked up. I dont see much wrong with Gio demanding 1m or such. And yeah, the agent knows they have alot of leverage, and the 400k being offered is bit of a pittance.
