Thats because despite things not working out, he works extremely hard, goes all in in most sitautions and his aggression won us the ball back quite a few times.

He is average this season, in his defence. As has the whole Athletic team. It has been a horrible season.

I wasn't watching Parma last season, but Athletic success last season was some part due to a 19 years old Muniain.

Muniain is a quality player. The whole team has been fairly poor this season as W said but last season he shone on a consistent basis for me.
I watched Bilbao fairly often last season for that Muniain - Llorente - Susaeta combination.

On the contrary side: Giovinco isn't a kid anymore, is consistently bad and his talent doesn't seem enough in competition with Matri and Quad. Then again he isn't our worst player by far. Isla gets that spot imho, but Giovinco doesn't have a good alternative and it just makes the situation very annoying.
