I'm very confident Giovinco will settle in.

Just give him some time.

He's not going to be prolific from the start. Look at Parma last season, he suddenly went trigger happy after January.

I'm sick of the Giovinco bashers, it's as if the last two season we've always had a 20+ goals a season top scorer? Cut him some slack guys, and stop your hating.

He's a Bianconero by BLOOD. A native Piedmontese like Marchisio and De Ceglie. From the same Primavera class of 2006 as well! :touched:

His overall play hasn't been good enough though this season, he can and needs to do better. I'm confident he will.
Very true. He hasn't been particularly good, and his goal return is quite flattering right now.

Still, it would be nice, considering we're only 6 games into the season, if people would stop saying things like 'he won't be of any use in Europe', or 'he can't be a starter', etc.

The guy just arrived at the club, he's trying to integrate himself into the team, adjust to our system, improve his understanding with the other forwards... comments like the ones I mentioned above just take no account of the other team's personnel, their tactics, player form, Juve's fitness levels, how Giovinco is being deployed, etc., etc.

It's early days, here. Fans need to support the player, so that he has the best chance possible to excel for the club.

Irrelevant. Criscito is also a Bianconero by blood and all that hogwash.

Assessing his performance is not "hating".

I did lash out at him after the viola game, because he hasn't really impressed me so far.

Glad he got his goal tonight, and if he can surprise me and prove me wrong then I'm all for it!

But still not convinced....

Anyway, well taken goal Gio! Forzaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

I'm sure Criscito is Neopolitan and started professional football at Genoa.

Glad for Gio, it's clearly visible the man divides opinion but I'm glad he will finally get a proper chance this season to prove himself.
