imagine giovinco being a good player and great person and starting for juventus

So has everyone come to grips with reality yet that Gio is coming back to Juventus?

Has it sunk in?

Let it marinate.

Yeah, hopefully he comes back to Juventus.

And then we ship him off to Lecce straight away.

He can be a great rotation for Vucinic, although him being a midget creates disadvantages for us as he is easily dispossessed by any good defenders.

Still, his passing, finishing, and dribbling are good enough to justify him as Juve material.
What he lacks in height he compensates in pace. Giovinco has improved his acceleration and agility this season and can outrun the most central defenders! Look at players such as Messi, Silva, Iniesta, Xavi they're all small. This gives them a lower centre of gravity - making them able to turn faster then a tall defender like Rannochia or whoever and that makes it really hard for them to hang on to them - forcing them to commit a cumsy foul..

Given the signs of our glorious mercato thus far and the shit Berlusconi's henchmen are kicking up in the media, he may be as good as we get. :scared:

Yeah. And everyone can step on Messi :sergio:
Other then that would be plain stupidity. he will come relatively cheap - very cheap for a player of his calibre. He is Juventini, Italian and young. I would jizzzzzz in my pants if we signed JoJo as well. But we'll see. Maybe I am just all too happy with second strikers :jvefan: No seriously - i like it when we creates chances all the time.. We should aim to sign players like Barca - eventually play similar to Barca (not like Barca)

The fee is essentially half of what you value him at, that's what the clubs each offer in a blind auction, for example. So you're saying you think he is worth €30m?

I'd say he is worth €18m-€20m, just for being Italian, his age, attacker, his past season, and a bit of flair and creativity.

What might we pay Parma to get him back, 15 million?
Parma and Juve will sit and talk before a blind auction is done. This deal could include some players Parma are interested in but if they don't reach an agreement over Giovinco it will end up in a blind auction. It pretty much depends on Parmas economy and their valuation of the player. I think we could make a deal with Parma in the region of 5-10 million € and a player or two..
