Not bad thanks! I had so much runnig around like a headless chicken when my mum died that I didn't have time to grieve - it has hit me now though.
Rangers supporters! Generally they are loud, aggressive and always cause trouble. Their nickname "the bears" is appropriate if you mean the grisly and not the teddy bear variety. There have been incidents that made my late father keep me away from "the bigot brothers", but the last one was the last straw for me! It's a long story! I was about 15/6 at the time. Because Rangers were playing a local team, people were not allowed to park their cars anywhere near the ground. So when my uncle, cousin, father and I went to visit someone who lived near the park that day we (like everyone including supporters) had to park in an old shipyard. On our way back to the car, I got separated from my family in the huge crowd of fans from both teams. All of a sudden, someone behind me put his arm round my neck and pulled me backwards. As he did so, I saw his other arm was raised and he was about to strike me with my fist as he said "Ah ye *********......"
Fortunately for me, 4/5 people grabbed him and pulled him off me. It scared me a hellava lot, I can tell you. One of the guys who "freed" me gave him a mouthful for attacking "a lassie". He apologised, but I doubt he would've if the other men hadn't been there. I don't believe for one minute that he couldn't have known. I was wearing no football colours as in scarves etc. I was wearing a red jacket, denim jeans and black high heeled boots. My hair was long. I was carrying a handbag. Even then he couldn't tell?? Pull the other one!
