I agree with Z on this-Hitler basically threw away what chance the Germans had of winning the war, especially in russia
Well, you have to remember that as he had some qualified generals in his forces, he also had some yes-men around. Like Goebbels who I believe was one of the biggest reasons for that unsuccesful russian tour.

e: or was it Goebbels, well some cunt from his office anyway

There was also Göring, but I think Hitler's biggest mistake was taking the Russian winter too lightly. He had a chance to re-issue heavier clothing but decided not to. He started the war in the summer of '39, which was detrimental because his soldiers had summer uniforms. If he started 2 or 3 months later, it might have been a different story.

But many people say that if not for the Americans, the Germans would have won the war, I don't agree. I think it was the Russians that won the war. The Russians picked up a huge tank producing facility in or near Moscow and moved the bastard back behind the Ural mountains.

Also, the Russians used horses in the winter, where the Germans used their tanks and trucks, and the friggin' oil in the crankcases froze. It was so cold Diesel fuel froze and the rifles they used broke. I mean, the Russians are some hard mother fuc*ers.

Also, Hitler had Rommel killed because he thought he was part of a plot to take him out. Rommel, the Desert Fox, was in my opinion, Hitler's best general, not because of his fighting spirit or his strategy, but the men he commanded believed in him, and would do anything for him. I think Rommel was Germany's Patton.

As a matter of fact I think that it was not just a thought.Desert Fox was really part of a plot!

yeah thanks God that harry truman died too !

I don't want to sound sanctimonious, but I will not post in a "political" thread here again.

They serve to do nothing but divide the membership--and for what? It's not like any of us will change our mind.

Harry didn't kill 12 million people (6 million of our Jewish brothers and sisters; almost 6 million others (mainly Catholic Slavs and Poles))--several hundred thousand died at Hiroshima and Nagasaki--I mourn their deaths. Many millions (Japanese and Allies) would have died in a non-A bomb invasion of Japan. More of our Japanese brethren would have died in a land invasion than were killed by the A bombs--many, many more.

We all love Juve. Do we have to talk politics?

(I apologize sincerely if that came across as preachy. Such was not my intention, OK?)

That's OK from my point of view, but besides that we all love Juve, there is so many disagreement here among Juve fans, starting with Del Piero thread.
BTW you are totally true about the politics,it should be considered at some other forum, not here.
Forza Juve!

Guten Nacht, mein Freund.

Sie ist mein Freund, ja?

With that F22 Raptor, you better be. Although my favorite plane is the F 15 followed by the F14.
Oh,my friend,you like planes,ha?
Well,F-14 never showed its potential but in TOPGUN movie(there were just one air clash during the Libya's war 1986.),and F-15 is really fantastic,I like him too. With that new modification,F-15E strike eagle, become a real USA fist.
F-22 is some kind of successor of F-15,but produced in STEALTH tech.Rusians definitely lag! They do not have money for final phases of air defenceany project.
It is really bizarre that your fav is not EFA-2000?
Tell me one thing, how does it spell Rammstein?
