Another forward would be a serious waste of resources.

There's barely enough room for Del Piero, Trezeguet, Iaquinta and Palladino as it is. If Juve needs a fifth striker, it should be someone who realizes they are fifth choice indefinitely and may not play much... that would be the reality of the situation. That is most definitely NOT Saviola. He's probably sick of being screwed around and wants a team where he can be their full-time starter. The kind of player Juventus could use can be found on a free transfer or better yet, internally. Not to mention, next season Giovinco can play as a midfielder or a support striker.

Priority One is a Wingback, either a LB to spar with Molinaro, or a RB to replace Zebina or Grygera, as one is enigmatic at best, the other is made of glass.

Priority Two is a Midfielder, either a LWM Nedved successor, or a CM Pirlo-type. Maybe someone like Ever Banega.

After that, maybe juggle some depth... toss out guys like Olivera and Boumsong, and find some better reserves/subs for the starters.

I really don't see offense as something that needs to be addressed for at least another season.

maybe Iaquinta is going to play as a CB for us? :p

seeing how good he can hustle the ball and his pace, and aerial power would make him a good Cb :p (better than Boumsong anyways)

Stupid transfer. I Agree with the other posters. This is media BS

    Juve look to Saviola

Juventus are being linked with a summer move for Real Madrid outcast Javier Saviola.

The Argentine forward made a controversial switch from Barcelona to Real during the summer, but he has struggled to find space at the Bernabeu.

After just four appearances and two goals with the Merengues, Saviola could be on the move again and Claudio Ranieri is reportedly interested.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, the Bianconeri are setting aside around £4m to capture the diminutive 25-year-old on loan.

While David Trezeguet is believed to be in support of the swoop, it is suspected that Alessandro Del Piero may oppose the arrival of a similar player.

Zebina-is gonna kill someone on the pich and get suspension for the rest of his life. :D
Grygera-I think he still didn`t fit in,especially on the right side.
Criscito-Our future, now he`s too weak and he`s probably scared. He`ll go on loan somewhere in january probably.
    Chiellini-Ok,no words for him.He`s great.
    Boumsong-Are you kidding me?
Andrade-As you said, injured still for a long time.
Molinaro-Likely to improve in future but so far nothing special.
Biri-I think i`d have to say the same thing as for Boumsong.

I`d buy Ivanovic.Zapata is also good but low chance of signing him in january.

While we have enough in numbers... the quality is questionable, and as a result, there is a need to field 2 defensive midfielders, stifling the offense and holding back players like Tiago.

    Solid Defenders: Chiellini, Legrottaglie
Inconsistent Defenders: Molinaro, Criscito, Zebina, Grygera
    Inadequate Defenders: Birindelli, Boumsong
    Longterm Injury: Andrade

When you look at it this way... another defender is a must. Personally, I think a wingback is top priority. When healthy, there's plenty of depth at CB...

CB: Chiellini, Legrottaglie, Andrade, Criscito, Boumsong... and that's without pulling someone out of position.

LB and RB are a little different...

LB: Molinaro... after that its a hodge-podge of other players getting slotted in like Criscito, Salihamidzic or pulling Chiellini back to LB at the detriment of CB.

RB: Grygera, Zebina, Birindelli. Grygera is injury prone, Zebina is hot and cold, and as much as we like Birindelli... he's ready to retire. Salihamidzic can also slot in.

Therefore, the priority is a wingback. Firstly, a guy like Pasqual or Grosso to play LB, failing that, a RWB to replace one of the question marks.

Instead of Saviola Juventus should try to get a loan on Royston Drenthe, the kid is has talent but he needs more game time and he needs less pressure. He can play as a left-back, left-winger and left-forward. He would certainly be useful to us.

AC Milan coach Ancelotti keen on Real Madrid's Drenthe
    tribalfooball.com - November 27, 2007

AC Milan are ready to pounce for Real Madrid wing-back Royston Drenthe.
Drenthe is set to be bombed out of Real in January after disappointing directors with his attitude and performance since his arrival from Feyenoord.

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti, says Controcampo, rates Drenthe highly and would like to add the youngster to his squad should Real make him available.

Actually Saviola is not as bas as some people make him.Last year, when he step to replace Eto he was great, but right now we don't need to strengthen our attacking line.

We know he isn't bad, actually he has proven that he is a lethal striker when given game time. But what the fans aren't happy is to hear that Juve is looking to get Saviola instead of getting a midfielder or defender.
