I agree that he’s not starter material yet, but it also feels like he should be given way more minutes, I wonder why Motta is so hesitant on him even with so many players out
Yes, started the season off well and guess Motta thought his play feel off. Since last match in October only 48 minutes played while Weah has received around 600 minutes. Nothing against Weah but maybe Samuel needs more minutes. Talk about a sweet looking shot.

Magnificent finish.

Really cool finish in a pressure situation, deserves a lot of credit for a young player to step up like that. He did well when he came on apart from his comedy dive.
The diving is a staple of the modern game tho. If it resulted in a pk he would be praised. Risk-reward is 50/50

There was something special about that finish, he was positioned more central and you couldn't have ever guessed he would curl it from that angle. Keep it up!

He has those from time to time, his shots are quite good but everything else isnt there to be a great player. I`d sell him if we get an offer of 20M or more.
He is useful though as we dont have any pure LW on the team...

I have no idea who chose him since there was one player who dominated for 70 minutes (Bologna`s Ndoye) and even after him there is Holm who had a great game toying with Rouhi..

Look at Thuram`s defensive duty, he is a must starter along with Locatelli IMO

I don't like diving. But if it paid off I agree he'd get praised. The problem is that it was a woeful attempt at a dive.
Exactly! If you know how to dive its ok but that was awful.

In 2014, the young Joseph Minala became a Lazio player, but strange questions arose: many doubted that he was really 17 years old. From the photos, it seemed that the guy was 30-35 years old, and even a rumor flew that Joseph was actually 42.

The agent of #Mbangula strongly rejects to TJ the rumours regarding the possible January sale:

""The goal is the reward for the work done in the shadows. Future? Unpleasant rumours, stop saying he will leave in January. On this point, what I want and ask is that rumours like this be stopped. Samuel is a young player, he needs to work to grow and he is doing it in silence. These types of rumours are not pleasant and could have disturbed him mentally, because he is young and this is his first experience at a high level. However, he is a very strong boy, who is very well surrounded, and who has got into the habit of ignoring all this and remaining focused on his personal and club objectives. So I repeat it once again: I am not aware of the rumours related to his possible farewell in January and I ask that this discussion be closed and concluded from today".
