Motta should not keep him away from squad, he deserves to be in the starting lineup. He needs to get into rhythm better in the system

Not true. He really had great 1.st game, his 2. was invisible. Every time he come in, in the second half he underperform. He is young and not sharp enought yet. Season will be long and his time will come.

agree, he got his chances after initial burst, but he just didnt deliver and was anonymous, nothing wrong on Motta side here.

True, you kind of forget he's even playing at some moments.

That being said, I'm sure he will improve as he gets more minutes here and there.

Pretty normal for young players to look brilliant one moment and then quiet the next. And he can only have his breakout moment once, then a player has to find a bit of consistency and improve game by game to maintain a level.

I find Serie A defences wise up to a player fairly quickly, maybe he was underestimated early on as he was an unknown.
