no mention of buyback clause either

club is turning next gen to a semi effective human trafficking hub

I think that is what it was designed for mostly, truth be told. Now and then a mainstay or wonderkid will come through, but 95% of players are just investments. Chelsea do this but with a first team squad of 50 players and 40m purchases.

What bothers me is that we're happy with the fee because it looks OK on the balance sheet, as we only paid a nominal fee for him, rather than trying to get the best fee for him.

✅ Samuel Mbangula to Werder Bremen… DONE DEAL !

Agreement found 20 minutes ago between Juventus & German side on a €10M transfer fee + ~3M€ add ons.

Still in Turin, Mbangula will be in Germany on Thursday for medical tests.

✍ As revealed: 5 years contract.

I even think they’d get close to double for him, even if he had the exact same stats as he did with us.

We just don’t know how to properly value any of our assets. We are complete fucking pushovers.
Is it a coincidence that all Juve Managements couldn't (in 95% of cases) sell good even if their lives depended on it?!

Any other clubs would have sold Mbangula north of 50 mill
come on

anything above 20m would be a scam. but 10m is still fucking low

i'm fine with human trafficking if done right. but this is a dysfunctional system. when you barely get any money for your players and as you're saying, basically any fee is acceptable, then the same player gets sold next year for an incomparable amount, that should get you thinking. jj is sticking with the shitty recipe lol

our post marotta management has been disappointing and it looks like data guy isn't any better, he's just the same shit for different reasons lol

In England they literally buy kids from a park for 50 mill...

Hell Brentford even managed to sell Mbuemo who had 1 year left on his contract for 65+ mill

Inter agreed a fee of 10 mill plus bonus and % with Brugge of all teams for Stankovic... YES STANKOVIC, has the grand total of fuck all appearances in Serie Ass

I'm not expecting 50 mill for Mbangula, but fucking hell how the fuck do we keep on making the same mistakes.

The bottom line is that we're in a death spiral where we have to liquidate assets to make purchases. But the only thing we can liquidate is our non toxic assets. Clubs know this and low ball us.

The reason its a death spiral is that we use the money on toxic assets. And soon we will run out of non toxic assets to liquidate and have to delete the club.

I think he was a talented winger. I feel like we might regret selling him, just like with Huijsen. Especially since the Bundesliga is great for attacking players. Selling him for 10M is ridiculous. If we’re going to sell talents at these prices, why don’t we just loan them out? Or at least include a buy back clause? Real forced Juve to put a buy back on Morata 10 years ago, but we’ve never done that with any of our talents.

Yeah 50M is just the standard Badass retard knee jerk, but any club worth their salt should get at least 20M-25M for him.

Although in saying this, most clubs know we are desperate to sell because of the large amounts of expensive deadwood on high salaries.
Also, maybe we shouldn't obviously freeze a player out of our squad completely, which is only going to lower his value.
