i liked what i saw yesterday. he still raw due to lack of minutes but it will be a big waste to sell this guy for 20 million in favour of kostic.
We initially intended to sell Kostic, which is why he wasn't playing at the beginning of the season. He was earmarked for a transfer. Considering this, it's unlikely that Iling will be sold to retain Kostic. While selling Iling to fund another purchase might be an option, sacrificing him just to keep Kostic doesn't align with our initial strategy. Plus, if we keep Allegri, Kostic is good as gone because he can't defend at all.

iling's probably only good attacking move was the one before the disallowed goal. otherwise he didn't offer too much going forward, but defended much better than expected. he looks in good shape physically.

Choosing formation according to players you have instead of trying to fit a square shape into a triangle space like a baboon would do, Football 101, an actual manager? Who cares.
Its weird that you brought up these players since Soule is not with us this season, Chiesa just recovered and was introduced during the match, Kenan played last night while Iling isnt good enough but still got minutes. The best formation and selection is the one that wins you games. We won last night so his selection was spot on as it has been for majority of this season.

Isn't it more weird Soule is not with us this season? Isn't it also weird that our genius coach considered him a wing back and he turned out to be revelation for Frosinone as soon as he breaks himself free?

Chiesa will play instead of Kenan not instead of Kostic or Weah. We are playing like ass and barely scraping wins against the shittiest teams of serie a, often thanks to individiual moments of briliance. For the millionth time, this is not sustainable. We will fail miserably again whenever we play a decent team.

Soule played as SS against Inter last year. Usually he played as a winger here.

Kostic and Weah are wingbacks so Kenan or Chiesa cant play instead of them in current setup. A win is still a win, 3 points, the end justifies the means. I dont care how it looks. If Allegri is getting results, he can play with 10 defenders for all I care. Will, could have, should have... You cant see the future and apparently present is hard to grasp. Case in point Marotta, the guy you blindly hate(d) while he achieved success over the last decade with several teams.

Luckily for us we don't play any decent teams, and can rely on so much individual brilliance from *checks notes* all these shit players that Allegri signed for us.
