To capture Samir Nasri would involve a massage spend and we would be competing with the likes of Madrid, Barca and the big two in England, even the two Milan's.

Would we, could we ever compete?

I can dream......
why not? we are juventus.. and remember.. which french great nv played for juve? platini, zidane, vieira, trezeguet, henry, thuram, deschamps.. with our french history.. nasri will choose juve if we step up a bid for him.

REAL MADRID, Nasri is the alternative to Kakà

Since Real Madrid keep taking back negative answers from Ac Milan about Kakà, it seems that the "Blancos" have swerved on Samir Nasri. O.Marseille will not let Nasri leave easily but for a player who is already considered the new "Zidane" Real Madrid could make important offers difficult to refect.

Nasri Back In Madrid's Sights

Samir Nasri is back on Real Madrid's radar after the Spanish giants failed to tempt AC Milan and Arsenal to part with Kaká and Cesc Fàbregas, respectively.

The Bernabéu entity are reported to have a verbal agreement with Olympique Marseille that could see the 20-year-old join the club next summer.

Now though, Madrid are hoping to press the French side into parting with one of their prize assets immediately as their quest for a creative midfielder grows more desperate.

After missing out on their main targets, Bernd Schuster is worried that he will be short of creative options unless a star name is added to the squad.

Nasri has admitted that moving to Madrid would be tempting, but only in the future as his current ambition is to make his name with l'OM.

Earlier this year, the two clubs held talks as the Spanish media labelled the rising star as the new Zinedine Zidane, but unlike the former Juve star Nasri was not ready to join los Merengues.

Despite being only their second pre-season friendly, panic buttons were firmly pressed in the Spanish captial after Madrid were over-run by Hannover 96 on Tuesday and a list of possible transfer targets were drawn up.

While Marca believe that the verbal agreement put in place two months ago for more talks to be held in 2008 will lead to something more concrete, AS have led with reasons why Nasri would be a success in la Primera.

Describing the French international as 'the new pearl of European football', AS believe that both Pedja Mijatovic and Miguel Ángel Portugal are preparing a plan to tempt l'OM into cashing in early on the player.

Real Madrid want everybody. They are linked to every talent or good player in the world. Schuster won't be succesful, nor will his successor. They destroy young talents.

If a player has got just marginal brains, he won't join Madrid. Let's hope Nasri wants Juve

Yea,they destroyed Marcelo.
They are one of the few clubs that has managed to wash up to players in a trade. They have destroyed both Julio Baptista and José Antonio Reyes. Quite impressive.

 - That would be the French way to do it :D

Guys, when were we linked with this player?? It was in September 2005 and this thread is still active as if we really are still linked with him for all this period.

Just strange.

Nasri Not Interested In Madrid; Not Yet

Marseille starlet Samir Nasri is not keen to move to Real Madrid at least for another year.

Samir Nasri is hailed by many as the next Zidane (also in part because of his Algerian descent), and Real Madrid's name has been popping up in connection with him time and again.

However, the player believes it is too early for a big move, and wants to spend another year "growing up" at Marseille before looking at other pastures.

The information has been conveyed by the player's agent, unofficially to Madrid based media.

Marseille, having just lost Franck Ribery, are also keen to hold on him, and unwilling to let him go for anything less than an outrageous offer.

Nasri is in no hurry, and will have a chance to play in the Champions League with the club. He has also been featuring in the French national team, which will give him another chance to showcase his abilities.

Under the circumstances, the player sees as completely unnecessary, a move to a big club where he might find himself on the bench, something that will clearly hinder his progress at this stage.

Strong thinking that, but another avenue closed for Real Madrid?
