I can't see it, not a year before the next World Cup. He seems really attached to Juventus anyway, very active on social media before and after games about the club.
Agree but maybe the club told him he will lose his starting position and will be allowed to move on. It's plausible with probably 2-3 central midfielders coming in before next season and Witsel being a very similar player.

Yeah that's true, it could be a situation where he might be asked to leave (although you'd think we'd look to offload the likes of Asamoah and Sturaro instead of a very good player like Sami.

He does seem happy here. Hope he stays. Would be nice to see him convince some other Germans to move here

Even though I want to punch his face every time I see it, Mueller would be a good addition. Maybe Bayern can pay us for our big heart by sending him here for a discount.

tuttosport: sami wants to leave juve next summer, just to move to an mls club. sounds bs.
The reaction to news like this is exactly why the media keep on writing bullshit like this.

Yeah.

Like we are gonna buy a better mid than Sami.

Better sell some dead wood like Asa and Sturaro.
:agree:

Khedira is an integral part of the team and a far better player than any we are likely to sign in the coming windows (Witsel included).

Why should he lose his starting position? (injury excluded). Most likely we won't sign a better midfielder than him. Not liek they are hanging on the trees for a Serie A club in the current market.

Well imo we can and should definitely sign a better midfielder. I wouldn't sell him anyway but it's plausible he wants a new challenge if his starting position is in danger.

Sami is a winner not a loser who throws in the towel when there's some competition. Sami isn't going to lose his position anyways so it's a pointless speculation.

Love the deep thoughts in your arguement there.

Probably and I hope so too because I like Sami. He actually brings something to the table that others don't. It was also his experience that led to Vazquez' red card...

Slow but also static. And despite having the physique to easily overpower the opposition he's like this big puffy dude that floats around the pitch like a balloon, it's like he has no strength in him. His positioning is also off, instead of participating in the midfield he goes forward or wide and waits for the ball. He was much, much better last year, despite having the same flaws.
