did i say hes contributing more than either of Vidal or Pirlo? i read my post again just to be sure and i didnt find any of the words required for someone to think that, such as "contributes" or "more" or even "than"
No you cant, laughable to compare him to the kind of effect Pirlo has on a team too, he could gone months without a direct assist and still been our most vital player by far.

Pirlo 11/12, 12/13, 13/14 yes, but last seasons Pirlo definitely not. same with Vidal
about my post again, one of the biggest concerns people had with Khedira when Vidal left and it was clear Khedira will replace him and not Pirlo, was that he wasnt on par with Vidal ofensively. while most agreed that the lack of Vidals pressence in defense wouldnt be felt so much (due to Marchisio replacing Pirlo permanently and Khedira, a more passive type of player, still not being much of a drop in quality from the more agressive Vidal), Khedira was much inferior player offensively. that stat just showed that people as usual overreacted and that Khedira is very well an useful player in offense, as hes on pace to having a better season offenively than last years Vidal. i added Pirlo to give it a better picture. another thing that shows how well he adapated here and what a great player he is
I think he will be a staple for us for a few years. Between him and Marchisio we really have the stability to control a game mentally and know when to play different paces through the middle. I think Allegri knows our middle 3 being available for Bayern is crucial and the injury problem he has had I dont thin he stays in late in games when muscle injuries happen more often
Was really impressive yesterday. It was actually the first time I saw him not trying to settle and fit, but just doing what he is one the best at. Passing, defending, moving, tackling – spot on. Best his game so far.
LOL yeah. What we need to do down the line is get enough global success to the point we can easily sign the best players as they do, and not need to focus on unwanted bargains, as we do really well.
I don't think it is. There is always risks with new signigs they might flop or get injured but when there is a huge transfer fee involved and big wages on top of that the risk is obviously a lot bigger. I very much doubt we'll be changing our transfer policy anytime soon as seen with the signings like Mandragora.
I know you are joking here, but really let's not get overboard with that. Everybody would love if we could compete for players like isco, hazard, ronaldo, di maria and all the rest of "star" players.
It's great that can get bargain deals and are lucky with them.
We splashed cash for Dybala, and surprise surprise, it's awesome.

I'm not saying we should change our transfer policy. I was just laughing at the statement that someone would take bargains anyday (which are not risk free at all) instead of being able to buy top star players.
