This doesnt make sense. Theres no point in signing and paying a player who cant play. If they bought him, they should have been 100% sure that he was going to be OK. He was a freebie but he is on igh wages for someone that will be sidelined half the season,
Come on, man, our board aren't idiots. The guy has been extremely injuryprone. We knew that.

They clearly fuked up then. Theres no way to justify buying someone with the expectancy that he will be injured here and there and everything is gonna be ok...above all after losing Vidal.

They got him on a free though. I suspect that's the main reason why it's possible to get Khedira on a free.

Free, but we're still paying his salary. That's a gamble. And when you gamble sometimes, you lose -- and his injury this weekend is hindsight.

the problem isn't that he is injury prone. the problem is that he and another mid are injury prone and we sold the one guy who as better than both combined at doing their job

now we have pereyra, pogba, marchisio and padion.

4 players for 4 positions. padion should never be first choice or first choice back up. we will panic buy at the first hint of injury.

but marotta no mistakes right?

edit: forgot sturaro stoo, but the point still stands

As my friend who's an actuary says, risk is opportunity.

Of course he just got injured again but his signing was always a gamble. He might turn out to be useful.
:disagree:

He's out for two months (and Juve barely play for one of those months) - might as well tear up the four-year contract now.

It was worth the risk if the vidal money was used right away for a major opportunity player...but as things stand...if we miss gotze or drax...the vidal hasty sacrifice is going to take its toll on us.

Should have been Allan, irrespective of hindsight.

My least favourite signing this summer, unfortunately. I don't think he offers much, just a slightly higher profile name because of the clubs he played for. Find him to be a tad bit overrated.

Yea seriously. One long motherfucking season ahead. Longer than it needed to be to be honest.

He's injured but I don't think he'll be missed. Sturaro or Pereyra are both better to me.

Khedira's game: side pass - stays / side pass - runs / side pass - stays / side pass - runs

He's a solid player, nothing else. Useful for rotation and resting important players, he's not one of those.

Yeah, we all know he is a workhorse thats it... but with one guy less, we risk burning out the healthy dudes...and maybe leading to more injuries
