Great signing. He's the perfect replacement for Pirlo making the CDM solid and options for the other CMs to take much greater part in the offensive side. IMO Khedira is a CDM; we shouldn't play him as a box-to-box for Marchisio, Vidal or Pogba!

Marchisio should be the undisputed CDM

Khedira will end up forcing Allegri's hand and Vidal will be playing more and more as a CAM this season imo. Then Pogba will probably be gone in 2016 and Vidal can resume normal midfield duties.

Marchisio has better attacking qualities then Khedira. We'll see tactical changes with our forwards taking even more part of building up the game.
I think Khedira has the qualities (tall, strong, tackler, headers) to play the CDM great. Marchisio closer to goal is also a better option (you know why)
