if we get him for next season he will be on the bench. the bench would be a good place for him when we have marchisi and pereyra and sturaro.if one of them gets injured or loses form khedira can cover for our injuries.
can he? there is little to no suggestion that he can since his injury. I mean for fucks sake madrid deployed ramos in midfield over khedira that has to be telling you something right there! in another words more like our midfielders will be covering for khedira

Thats why there is a medical test before you sign a player

And even if he could, having such a high salary in your squad for an injury-prone replacement is flat out not worth it.

Allan's contract expires in 2016. Why not use the opportunity and rejuvenate the squad as well as provide a longterm solution. That dude is hungry and powerful. Khedira is an unmotivated bum coming from CL and WC wins, only hungry for some cash.
Agreed on both counts

well something clearly went wrong with our medical staff when we signed romulo
What?

He got injured afterwards. You could blame them for Isla to some extent, but there we knew that he was injured and took the risk.

If anything, the Khedira case would resemble Pirlo, who was injured regularly in his final Milan seasons.

I believe that was a decision taken on the basis that he was leaving Real Madrid.

Wasn't a decision taken from a purely footballing point of view.

romulo was effectively injured before the world cup which is why he didn't go
this transfer is a low risk signing for us:

1* He's free

2* If his salary is 3-3.5 mil it's ok

3* There is a chance that he regains his old form or close to that and will be used as a sub or to rest players

4* We can sell him for at least 10 mil and maybe more even if he don't do nothing

we sold Matri for 12mil to Milan there are lot of clubs who will pay more for Khedira

we can only win with him

point 4 is wrong. Firstly we sold Matri on the basis that he was relatively 'solid' for Juve and milan were the only club stupid enough to pay that much for 2 reasons a) he's a former milan player and b) allegri held him in high regards no other club would have paid that amount. Khedira's sell on value would be very small if he fails to prove his worth

There are tons of stupid clubs out there. And when the new EPL deal kicks in this summer they'll spend like crazy and Khedira is not a small name. Don't underestimate stupid people who have lot of money money QPR were going to pay more than 10 mil for Isla if they didn't got relegated and we all know how he played here and Khedira is no Isla.

That is BS. He has a pretty high resell value because he is regarded highly in Germany. We could definitely sell him to Wolfsburg Schalke bayern or something.

5* Fill up an extra CM we need for 0 fee, only wages. Allowing us to spend more elsewhere.
