Rotation, yes. Not a starting spot though. I thought that after so long being a bench player he'd look for a place where he could start week in, week out?
I think that there is a difference though between being a rotational player and just flat out being benched. It appears that in his case, the latter is what took place at Real.

I think that if he comes on board, he will get himself into about 20-25 matches next year, and if he can play at the level that most of us are used to seeing for those games, then it could be a good piece of business.

Pirlo's situation is still up in the air for next season, and it appears that Asamoah will probably be used extensively as a LB/LWB. Therefore I think the need will be there for him next season.

He'll challenge for major honors with Juventus.I guess that also matters than just gametime week in week out.
Im sure he knows the MF competition at Juve and after the bad ending to his madrid career,he'd want to compete than looking for a big paycheck in an epl club.
For me its a rather good sign that he's chosen us.

I see. We do need another CM ifAsamoah is to be our 2nd option LB/Pirlo is to leave/no AM will be bought and Pereyra will be played there.

I'm not against this transfer. Just hope it doesn't mean Sturaro gets to ride the bench instead.

If Asamoah is a permanent LB and Pirlo leaves, then we'll have 5 CM's for 3 spots discounting Pereyra.
Vidal,Marchisio,Pogba,Khedira,Sturaro
Which is good enough to me.

Or that we changing system ? aka moving away from the dlp setup.
The midfield will do fine as long as we add a TQ to our side.

Thats the big question..

Time will tell that i suppose.Going by reliable sources,it seems we're in the market for a TQ.Hopefully we get a good one.
