Danilo handball? I'd say its about fucking time we got some favours come our way. Funny not a single newspaper mentioned how Brahim Diaz turned into an american football player vs Cremonese....
not even a favor, marelli explained it. of course journalists won't give a shit. anyway...

here's the whole explanation. danilo simply wasn't expected to move his arm away from the ball. there was 0.12 seconds between the deflection (which he couldn't anticipate at all) and the touch. an average reaction time is usually considered around 0.2-0.3 seconds if i'm not mistaken. he had zero chance to move his arm, especially not while falling to the ground. never a penalty. period.

“A still image suggests Danilo’s arm is raised and it is a penalty,” said Tiziano Pieri on RAI Sport.

“However, we need to see the dynamics of the whole incident. The rules state that if a player is already falling down and his arm is out to shield his fall, it is not punishable.

“In this situation, Dawidowicz hits the ball very hard and there is no time to react. The VAR officials, Guida and Nasca, decided that this movement was congruous and that the arm was ready to cushion his fall rather than moving towards the ball.”

Whining about ref decisions on your official twitter?

Lmao

The ball hit him from behind when he is falling.
In the photo people can take conclusion that he try to block the shoot to the goal. But if we see the video the shoot is block and deflected by another Verona player in the box and hit Danilo from behind when the ball going away from the goal.

When someone sees those photos of the handball and not the video.. he would think this is a clear penal

But when you see the vid and see that the ball was moving outside the box with a deflection.. you will be saying this should never be a penal.

Penal should only be for incidents that may prevent a goal or an direct attempt to block an assist for a goal in the penal area..

In every other incident that is not preventing a goal or an assist.. intention and carelessness should be the factor.. carelessness
It does not need to penal everytime..
Penal is cruel punishment in 90% of those cases..

Insane how people expect players to have superhuman reflexes when the ball is bouncing around the pen like a pinball. Never a pen. Also totally retarded to be posting still images of the handball instead of a video of the full context. Even watching these situations slowed down on VAR and video are a bit unfair because the reaction time seems exaggerated when in reality it's barely a blink of an eye.
