Started well, then usual defensive lapses before a superb second half. Easily could have been double if we finished better.

That's a few home games recently where we have created plenty of chances, the negative is that we should be converting more. We played like a confident team that was enjoying themselves in the second half. I haven't seen that in a while. We need to find a way to build on this and carry it into away games. Far too often we get a couple of results then ruin all the good work the following week.

That's it boys, that is it

This is the reason why it's not just a coaching problem, why the coach is not the biggest problem even. With this energy they easily beat Monza, Samp, Maccabi away and Salernitana. Allegri didn't give them a magic solution all of a sudden, both sides have to work together

For the first time since Max came back I feel that they care, that they actually want to play for the club, for the fans, to win. Hugs after game, after a mistake by the teammate etc. Just working hard and honest

Locatelli MOTM for me, surgical game. Rabiot has been more than good all season, Rugani again another good game. Other than the penalty against Villarreal he didn't put a foot wrong since he came back. Ideal 4th choice CB, just lower his salary like MDS

Danilo had he played in that Juve 4-5 years ago would've been an absolute fan favorite. Perfect team player, Swiss army knife.

Win against Benfica any way possible and then hope for a miracle in the last round. But even if/when we go out of UCL this has to be the recipe for the rest of the season.

watching the highlights, didn't even realize during the match that our crosses today were this dangerous. empoli got even a bit lucky with this scoreline. cuadrado was terrible at times with his clumsy passing, these crosses still make him a starter

The quality of crossing was great improvement though the creativity issues still persist.

Taking the positives out of this.

organised 352
Reduced periods of suicidal Pragmatism
Kean was hungry
Rabiot had a “I can be arsed today” game
Danilo model pro
Kostic could be getting more assists
Cuads not totally washed out.
could have lots of more goals
De winter was playing
Iling Jr debut.

ignoring all the crap to ensure I can enjoy the weekend.

Yeah playing Benfica away will show us our level. It is obvious that if our crossing keeps becoming better than we can compensate to some extent the lack of creativity we have to create chances in open play.

Team game
Determination
Not being satisfied by a narrow lead
Locatelli playing well for a change this season.
Its like he instructed his team to do the opposite of what he taught them

Nah, Empoli is just the ultimate garbage. Pirlo and Sarri would have won this game 15 to 0. Allegri is cooked, coked, cucked, toasted, and roasted.

Just watched the replay. 4 goals and could’ve scored more? Kean and Mckennie scored? Rabiot scored a brace? It’s gotta be proof we’re living in a simulation and they’re fucking with us.

But seriously, even considering Empoli as a weak adversary this is the first match we looked old school, for the most part anyway, in a long long ass time. Apart from the usual moments we take a nap everyone seemed to be focused on the game and put in the work.

I’ll be pretty upset if this was just a one off and we go back to our old ways against Benfica.

Win, lose, or draw. Friday matches are peak. It saves me so much time, dignity, etc over the weekend which is valuable time.

Can’t wait for next season when we play EL Thursdays. And I hope then no mercy Serie A Friday schedule

Early goal and lucky empoli failed to draw the level in the first half. Corners sealed the result. This juventus looks still the same team as before.

EL Thursdays automatically means no Friday games Bro.

We need the CL, so you can enjoy your weekends without having to worry about JJ dampening your spirits on Saturdays and Sundays.
