Do all former Soviet countries eats lots of hot soup dishes?

this is where the fun begins in my opinion, the fact meat is an integral part of the meals makes me feel at home

for example : in egypt: kishka is stuffed with rice where as in russia i've been told its kishka stuffed with meat which for me is heaven

=) yeah... there is no way to have a meal without meat (if you are not a vegeterian of course)
In our countries, if you are having meat only once a day you could be considered as a person who is on diet =D

Our Borsch is quite a fenomen ! When Pierluigi Collina arived to Ukraine in one of his first interview he has been asked about his meal. He answered that of course he prefer Italian restaurants but Borsch is something amazing and he always asked for second portion =)
