I dont disagree that we need miggration but it needs to be kept under control and selective. Right now we are allowing everyone coming to Croatia and Id assume its similar in other EU countries. The capital here use to be very safe, and unlike in a lot of other countries you could walk during the nights without issues. This has changed over the last few years as more incidents are reported, girls being harassed, or people getting robbed.
People underestimate how much migration is by design, many things are political decisions.

Politics should also ask question as ‘why is our birth rate low’, or make family friendly legislation. We’re able to make day care really cheap if we want, it’s a financial question with a layer of ethics.

Besides that there’s controlled and uncontrolled migration. How come that someone who arrives here illegally without a passport has more chances here than Siamak who gladly comes on a work permit.

How do you mean by design? All countries will have an immigration policy. Of course it's a political decision.

family friendly legislations don't work. we have a 100% tax cut for mothers (not fathers, only mothers) of four for life, we give ~250 euros of tax cut which is substantial in hungary to families raising at least 3 kids, and it's still only the gypsies who have a reproduction rate over 2. young people pick their careers over their family, and especially guys are late bloomers anyway

illegal immigration is the issue, not immigration. the far right confuses the two, the far left doesn't care about the difference, and the moderates aren't vocal enough to make things clear. and in hungary moderates don't even have a voice lol

Migration has different layers, you basically have students, labour and refugees.

Its a political decision to offer labour to other countries. Many North-Africans did not came here because there was a war in Morocco, but simply because politicians made the conscious decision to offer them work when our economies grew.

If your nephew can’t find a studio in Glasgow the odds are quite high that universities adopted a very international profile and attracted foreign students.

Its also a political decision to give refugees permanent residence.

In a way you could say that for the people who are against migration that they’re victims of their own countries economic succes, but no European president woke up one day with the thought ‘oh wow my population grew with millions over the last years, have to look into that’

It’s premature to say that Hungary has two types of policies, and because they don’t work the whole concept of having family friendly policies to boost birth rates don’t work. I think we also have to ask ourself in what kind of society we’re living. For the major part of Europe (Hungary might be a anomaly) its a liberal democracy with a big emphasis on social equality and individualism. The concept of traditional families aren’t one of the focus areas of the EU, while they’re in fact the backbone of society. One of the things people ask themself before getting children is always the obvious answer if they’re able to afford it.

It hasn’t worked in Korea or Singapore either. These policies don’t seem to have the desired effect because culture has changed. Culture and societies change, it’s inevitable. When you have an economic system that’s based on over consumption, the only thing that keeps its going is more people. At some point, that system will no longer work. Infinite growth is impossible.

Reports of the cult withdrawing from NATO are gaining traction. I think this is going to be the death blow for everyone. The cult seemingly wants to become hardliners with Russia and China. Everyone else is a possible casualty. This is the real New World Order that all the conspiracy theorists warned about, except now they’ll all promote it.

I have a question regarding sanctions on Russia, What kind of sanctions have been imposed on Russia?
Have you been blocked from accessing some companies' websites?
For example I can't access the official Docker website and the documentation provided there. Do you have the same issue in Russia.
I got this message when loading pages on the Docker website.

Hi siamak, I personally don’t use docker so I didn’t face trouble there. Since my work has to do with react and typescript I have no issues with any of that nor with GitHub apart from the lovely banner you have to see. However my friends who work using adobe they have Trouble with paying the subscription for the services of the platform. There is a walk around which is what most people do which is using bank cards issued from other countries. My wife uses adobe so we use my egyptain card to pay the subscription and all is good. The only sanction which is a pain in the ass for me is transferring money to my mum however people solved it via telegram groups and Facebook pages of people who need rubles and you want say egyptain pounds or Lebanese lira etc. hope that answers your question.
