What's that have to do with russians bombing civilians in Ukraine?
What's the angle?

Are you saying those people don't need to be judged because Bush bombed Irakis?
No I'm saying Kamala Harris and the US can stfu about war crimes.

Yeah, great reasoning.
Nothing to do with reality.
Anyone has the right to call for tyrants to be trialed, unless that person has bombed herself/himself civilians in a foreign country.

I would understand your reasoning if Bush would do that, bu not how you put it.

Why stop with Bush? I think we should go back in history and demand justice for everyone, including General Custer and Christopher Columbus. Everyone should do nothing until these other debates are finished and justice is served. THEN we can have a clear conscience and support Ukraine.

This. Italians should never have an opinion about anything. Remember the Roman empire?

Everytime a Italian opens his mouth about something we say, but what about Emperor Octavian and his war crimes.

@Quetzalcoatl You are falling for russian propaganda.
Whataboutism is a form of it.

You talking about opinions, isn't that what Raphael posted, an opinion? A correct one at that, so what's the problem?

"Oh you must support Russia and Putin then" :andyandbarcelona:

Nah bro, I agree with you. Who are we to judge? The blood is on our hands. Bojangles Putin is right.

Nah I am talking about "whataboutism".

    And that's what Raphael done.

Statement - those russian leaders that bomed Ukrainians should be put in jail to make them pay - Statement is true. They should be deffered to justice.

Whataboutism - but what about Bush. Polluting the conversation. Suddenly it's not about justice for the Ukrainians , but Bush's war crimes or something.

Conversation switches to a nothing conversation since the issue is about Ukrainians and the appaling rusians that bomb them.

I can't explain better than this.
It's a propaganda tactics that has been used since the beginning of internet.
It's how trolls deviate conversations from their intended purposes.

    Btw @Raphael and @Quetzalcoatl
Here’s the key difference. Everyone in the US hates Bush and Cheney because of the Iraq war. Russians love Putin because of the Ukraine invasion.
No issue with the US people. It's just laughable to see Kamala or anyone from the US govt talk about war crimes like they have a moral highground. We all know they don't give a fuck about the people of Ukraine so why get pressed when someone points out the irony.

And some rational people here will equate that to mean you support Putin. No surprise really, black and white thinking in everything. Well it is a Juventus forum after all.

Rusians bomb Ukrainian civilians on a daily basis.
A peaceful country was invaded by a warmongering one without provocation and it's only defending itself.

Care to tell us where do you see any gray area?

Yeah man, I hear you. But I disagree. A conversation has room for a lot of angles. You can be against the Russian crimes and tell Kamala stfu until you call out Obama, at the same time.

Anyway my wait in line here is almost over so I'm out. It's all good.
