It seems like Europe doesn`t want to impose more sanctions on Russia

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Europe cannot secure its energy supplies without imports from Russia.
Energy was deliberately left out of previous rounds of sanctions, Scholz said in a news release Monday, adding Russia energy is of “essential importance” to the general, daily lives of its citizens.

Meanwhile, Hungary’s finance minister Mihaly Varga said his government would not support any sanctions on Russian energy.

In a Facebook video posted Monday, he spoke of the substantial damage existing sanctions on Russia have had on its economy.

"Those who ask for the expansion of the sanctions, want the Hungarian people to pay the price of the war."

“Bulgaria would support all kinds of measures, because we are really against the war, but these two (oil and gas), maybe we would ask for an exception… We do not have current alternatives right now, we are too dependent,” Petkov said.

Demilitarization is one of the demands, as it clearly says "change its constitution to enshrine neutrality" - pretty much to have the same neutrality as Switzerland

The other demands are totally relevant as well. Nothing wrong with it

It all depends on what neutrality means though. Crimea is already russian, nato will not add ukraine if it were it would have done it long ago. So it's really about the repubs and i say better keep on fighting now with the world momentum with you. Otherwise, they will just keep on encroaching until they take the whole thing like the did after ww1.

Will it really end with that though? Even if Ukraine does agree to those terms, for now, why would they trust Russia going forward? May not be a full scale invasion but surely Russia will keep fucking with them, trying to spread influence and corruption into their government Especially if they can't join NATO

I agree that's why I don't think naturality is such a big concession to make, demilitarization never. They can still join EU, get access to funds, invest in the military and make it even less profitable to invade them next time.
I want to think the Russian threat with how the Ukrainians are preforming will not hang over them for a good couple of decades at least, maybe it's wishful thinking.
