Zelenskyy was not promised anything by the West. Ukraine wants to join NATO and EU and this is their sovereign decision. No one, especially the Kremiln Sauron, is justified to take military action against the country.
And BTW, the NATO and EU are helping with whatever they can at the moment. They should do more, fuck, I would even support a "no fly zone", but this is unrealistic and extremely dangerous.

This sentence proves what I said earlier which means that even you expected a lot more help for Ukraine.

Even Zelensky himself and his people expected a lot more help. Everyday he is literally begging them for help. 3 days ago one ukrainian journalist burst into tears in front of Boris Johnson after his words: “There is not enough we can do as the UK government to help in the way that you want, and I’ve got to be honest about that.”

However EU gave him the help of the century
Zelensky applauded by EU parliament

And you are still living in denial

What is it that you expect Nato and the EU to do?

And I mean realistic things.

Why does it matter right now?
At this point not much matters but the voting surprised me. I was just wondering mainly because of the US since they always fight majority of that. I saw some picture of that but it was done similar to level of Paint, so I thought to be 100% fake. Then I came acrossed that link and I found it strange.

Why surprising? Russians carry an "anti-nazi" mantle while bombing civilians for a while. It's a circus for morons.

They should do exactly the opposite of whatever they are doing now.

This is not about Ukraine, but it`s about Russia. They are doing everything possible to weaken Russia (which was their plan all along) and to be honest they are succeeding in it. Since they are weaking Russia, the consequences for Ukraine will be even more severe. After this Ukraine will be devastated, Russia will be weakened and Europe will be on it`s knees. By imposing sanctions to Russia, Europe is imposing sanctions to itself since they are dependable on Russia.

Russia will come out wounded but still find a way to survive this, as they will start trading and do more import/export from/to China, India, Pakistan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina etc.
But Ukraine will be a post war battlefield after this.

Nato, EU and western powers should act as intermediaries between Russia and Ukraine and stop this as soon as possible because more people will die and the whole world is suffering.
Throughout the previous century European leaders proved to be inadequate and incapable as they somehow allowed the two World Wars to happen on European Soil.

We are still early in the new century and they are proving once again that they are incapable and inadequate of foreseeing and preventing this to happen on European soil for third time in a row.

The good thing is that there is still time to stop this before the bear goes into berserk mode.

The bad thing is they chose the wrong approach.

You are hopeless. If EU and NATO bow in front of a dictatorship this will be the end of civilization. Every other dictator/autocracy will be emboldened to do whatever they want. Putler and Russia should be punished severely for years and years to come.
