In a way I agree, this is hard and they need to be helped and it sounds like the process needs to go faster.
However, arguably the only racist thing mentioned there is not giving a bus ride to Indian women and children (if I understood correctly), the rest sounds like standard crisis rules - women and children first. It's just that there are only foreign men, since Ukrainians have to stay and be bombed by Putin.

This is why I think the most important part of the war is Russia domestically. If its citizens and military can say, "The Emperor has no shirt ... and a death wish for Russia", then there's a chance for a saner ending. This essentially requires a kind of military-backed coup ... getting the military to get fed up dying to kill brothers while the country's finances and citizen options go in the toilet.

funny how they removed this from the original website and only available from the archive. i read it the other day, a must read for all interested, captures well a certain russian mentality indeed. question is how well this idea is represented in current russian society/army. as someone wrote earlier, many young russian soldiers won't give a shit about this war and would rather go home.
