Tibet would like to have a word, no country in the world has nearly as many territorial disputes as china. Real politik is what matters, any rational person would rather be occupied by muricans than the Chinese.
Agree 100% .

I don't get some US citizens , they ask their goverment to stop interfering outside the US , but they don't realize someone else (russa, china) will . USA being here in my country is a blessing none thinks we are "occupied" , but even if that was the case, usa being here is 1000 times better than russia or china .

No, Kadyrov senior was killed by his ex-comrades for betraying them, he made a deal with Putin and switched sides to become a friend of federal government, then after he was killed Kadyrov junior has become the leader of Chechnya and it was a choice of Putin,so Kadyrov jr. literally owes his life to Putin

Media always said it was just a matter of time before the Russians would gain control of all the major cities, regardless of the L´s they´ve taken these first days.

But is it even a possible scenario here that the whole invasion will fail, they just never succeed and call it quits?

Take the cities is one thing, control them is something else.... national government may need to be relocated but I can't see how they don't be full operative for a long time

No, this is Afghanistan 2.0 for Russia, ukranian people will never be at peace with Russian army in their country, this will and already led to rebel movement, Russian soldiers will be attacked and killed by ordinary people, Russian army will stuck there forever now because Putin and Shoigu won't give up until kiyv is captured, they are crazy sons of a bitches

Possible scenarios for this conflict (IMO):

1- Russia and Ukraine negotiate an end to the war with several concessions to Russia
2- “Syria” scenario: Ukraine does not concede anything to Russia and Russia proceeds to completely destroy Ukraine, plus future years of fighting against guerrilla

Honestly, I don’t see any scenario in which Ukraine wins. I think we will have the second scenario, although Ukraine negotiating in Belarus tells me the first one is possible (negotiating in the country allied with Russia and Russia with nuclear bombs as a backup, those negotiations cannot go well for Ukraine). This is why I was so concerned with the fact that no aid from the West was offered to Ukraine BEFORE the conflict. Russia is “losing” now because they haven’t decide to make a completely bloodshed. The moment they start attacking with all their force (which I’m sure will be soon since they had so many deaths), Ukraine will be fucked.
