    Something that few people mention here is that the Western world is one financial system in which when you cut one player, everybody is hurt. Also the dollar as a reserve currency will lose a lot if a country like Russia is out of SWIFT banking system. Then Russia will choose another currency to trade with and this will hurt the dollar a lot.
    It won't hurt the dollar that much if people start dumping Euros because Europe is in a major conflict.

    This is gonna end Putin's way or war way. Most likely the first scenario. NATO doesn't want to fight Russia, same as everyone else so no one will help Ukraine.

    It already doesn't seem to be going well for Putin. They aren't making as much progress as intelligence thought and they keep losing aircraft. The scary thing is if Putin was insane enough to decide on this in the first place, the sky is the limit for his insanity. Now they're hitting random ships and driving over citizens in tanks. Sadly, I think anything is on the table for him, to scale of force below nuclear weapons. And even then I still worry about the nukes in the hands of this guy.

    Russia is an significant shithole. Who cares if they stop using the dollar.
