Most likely not: Russian infantry and tanks will Blitz through Ukraine, and separate Ukrainian forces from eachother , creating a separation within the Ukranian resistance. Also, calibrated air strikes on tactical targets (military bases, air bases etc)

The only way this takes long is if Russian army starts engaging Ukranian forces in "intifada" like warfare , in and around city centres like in Middle Eastern conflicts, but given the bad experiences of chechnya , this is highly unlikely to repeat itself.

It will be a much more swift and effective operation this time, or at least thats what it looks like atm
