Also 1 Dollar is 90 rubles and 1 euro is 100 rubles which is more important for average citizen
Yes, this is horrible for the average Russian citizen. As I said before, I can't believe everyone in Russia is on board with this. They will suffer hard.

Damn. I hope they do this. Would love to see Putin’s Russia be turned into a pariah. Unfortunately the Chinese already backing Russia and criticizing US for causing this so it likely won’t happen.

russia have been preparing for this for a long time, on the ground and on the internet too. hopefully it will be quick.

fuck russia (and china) though. they've been an annoyance to the world ever since i can remember. can't believe the eu is so fucking soft with them, and it's all because of the natural gas. imbeciles in bruxelles blabber about energy since 2 decades, their climate policy is an impractical, illogical joke full of administrative measures for the sake of it, yet here we are, depending on russia. we fully deserve this.

That can happen when you spend 20 years forcefeeding your populace non-stop propaganda and imprison anyone who dissents.
Agreed on propaganda and soft censorship, that definitely helps to maintain your position and imo that actually happens a lot all over the world even in Western countries, even if not as blatant as in Russia or Belarus.

In my head any signs of hard censorship (and Putin has tens if not hundreds of episodes of imprisonments / deaths) automatically undermines the legitimacy of the leader though, but Russia will do Russia.

Invade again lol. The land was/is occupied by the west. The US got you Kosovo, it was soil Serbian for centuries just so they could build a base there. They didn't mind that, doing it without referendum, but they do mind it when Russians do it. Quite double standards, I find it really funny. When west pulled off that thing with Kosovo they opened pandoras box. They should figure it out now.
