I disagree. Davids showed for a long time how good he is and he has at times carried the team. Appiah has showed nothing, really. He has never showed anything but crap for Juve.

I was one of the people shouting my lungs out on how Lippi has to play Davids instead of benching him for Appiah......u know, during that Davids/Appiah war. As the season wore on, I was a believer in Appiah and changed my view 180 degrees. His recent run of poor-form is just that.......poor form, and he'll be back to brilliance.
