Oliveira Heading Away From Juventus
The Uruguay midfielder is expected to leave the Bianconeri in the coming days, with Standard Liege being in the driver’s seat.
It seems like the adventure of Ruben Oliveira with Juventus is coming to an end after joining the Italian club in 2002, but failing to live up to the expectations which accompanied him.
The midfielder ended up spending most of the past 5 years on loan in Serie A and the Primera Division in Spain, but now seems destined to leave the Old Lady on a permanent basis.
Last season’s disappointing campaign with Sampdoria has convinced the Bianconeri directors that Oliveira will not be part of the Juventus future project.
According to the latest transfer speculation coming from Italy, the Uruguay midfielder will be heading out of Turin will his most probable destination being Standard Liege in the Belgian Jupiler league.
However, Real Betis might still be in with a chance to sign the player, even though the Belgian destination seems the most likely possibility.

Juventus midfielder Ruben "Pollo" Olivera is on the verge of returning to his homeland to play for Uruguayan giants Penarol.
Olivera (24), who has never managed to become a regular starter during his time at Juventus, was loaned out to Sampdoria last season, where he also found little success.
The midfielder, who was expected to have a brilliant career when he joined Juventus back in 2003, recently told the press that he was homesick after many years abroad.
Penarol, who are Uruguay's most supported club, showed an immediate interest in the attacking midfielder, and both parties, Juventus and Penarol, have been in negotiations for a few weeks now.
Olivera will be loaned out to the Uruguayan club for six months, with an option for another year, depending on his performance.
The midfielder, whose only Uruguayan club was Danubio, also attracted interest from cross-town rivals Nacional of Montevideo.
