Article from Swedish Sportal.se:

Salas hamnar i kylan?
8. juli 2003 21:42

Translation (I was in Sweden for 4 years, so I know Swedish :thumb:):

Salas out in the cold?

Marcelo Salas has refused to move from Juventus in two occasions this sommer. Should he refuse another Juventus will consider putting him outside the team.

Juventus is almost prepared to give away Salas for free to get rid of his 4 mil € per season salary. The player has been a flop during his two years in the club, but he refuses to move.

Juventus had already came to terms with Spanish Betis and French Monaco about a transfer, but Salas has declined both destinations.

This has annoyed the Juventus managers and they are ready to put Salas outside the group and thereby not call him for the next season. All to pressure him to move.

Juventus is now negotiating with English Tottenham and its up to Salas to decide about the move. Even Monaco seems to be ready to make a new try to convince the Chilean to accept a move to France.

I think it means they wont play him in any of the games, and he probably wont be allowed to train with the team.

so he is being a tosser then!

i think he should evaluate his current position and career and realise that not many other big clubs are after him.

i'd accept a monaco or chelsea move if i were him.

well hell deserve it because hes denying two diff moves
I think Salas wants to get released b/c if he does there'll be more chances for him out there since whoever dons his services won't have to pay the transfer fee, and he's likely to get a higher offer for salary. :groan:

salas has done nohing to deserve our hatred. He's been injured for nearly the whole time, and when fit, he's been fifth choice mostly. Yes, I want to get rid of him, but to hate the guy for what he's doing is double standards.

there is no question about salas leaving, none at all.it makes no financial sense to pay him the remaining amount of money(11.4m) in wages and still have him fighting for a place on the bench for the coming three years.for that money we can get someone much, much much better,no?

how much we will need to pay if we'll release him on free?

untill that we have to look for a club which willing to pay some cash. because we lose money if we release him on free :undecide:

ok juve need to think about another solution :dazed: :scared:

obviously he won't play, even if he stay. Lippi doesn't want him anymore and so is Moggi. Salas has nothing to lose, so maybe he wants to blackmail more money.

i agree with u
i don't know why many people here wants to get rid of him
he wasn't bad , or done something wrong , cuz
actually he couldn't play..

i love salas , he came to us and he was one of greatest
strikers in the worls , but he had a veery bad luck
and i think when he is fit , he will do alot of us..

we all saw salas and how he scores and plays,
so i think as he wants to stay with us ,
lets give him a one last chance
and im sure
he want let us down:cool:
