Latest news is that Salas has refused to go to Monaco. Which means that we still havent sold him and no swap with rothen!

So far, Salas has refused to go to Betis in spain, Sporting Lisbon in Portugal and now Monaco in France. Barcelona have already said that they werent interested, which only leaves Chelsea and Liverpool, and Liverpool wanted him on a free.

I think his transfer will take alot of time .. he needs to find the 'right' place for him .. but I'm sure he is just looking at his options and in the end will choose the best of those ..

About Rothen, I agree he is a great player but doesn't really fit with Lippi's tactics .. unless he plays with a flat 4-4-2 formation without Nedved !!

It is rumoured that Moggi is pressing on Salas to make this move urgently so that he could work on getting Corradi

This formation would be way too offensive as Camo and Rothen can't defend .. it might work against small teams but not against big teams like Madrid or Milan as we will be exposed, especially in counter-attacks ..
