Milan have their eyes trained on Ronaldinho after the Brazilian star threatened to use FIFA Article 17 to quit Barcelona.

Milan have been regularly linked with Ronaldinho, but have seen past advances rebuffed as the former PSG man was a pivotal figure at the club.

However, the Porto Alegre native has fallen out of favour and was only on the bench for the Champions League game against Lyon and last weekend’s Espanyol derby day.

“My brother will leave if he isn’t wanted, even if he has to leave for free,” ‘Dinho’s agent and brother Roberto Assis warned.

FIFA Article 17 states that a player can unilaterally buy out his contract after three years of service if he pays a compensation sum to his club, based on his wages.

Chelsea have made no secret of their desire to bring the 27-year-old to Stamford Bridge and there could be a dramatic bidding war between the West London giants and the Rossoneri as both sides look to lure 'Dinho with a bumper contract offer.

There are also whispers that Juventus could enter the auction, but it is believed that they lack the funds to compete.

I don't want him anyway.... and that's probably just a stupid rumor

just remember, i said it first in the "i want this player thread". and if you guys don't want dinho, something must be wrong with you.
He is an overrated player, his wages will be extremely high and we will have to pay very very much money to buy him.So why to want him?

All this time people whine about not having a midfield genius in a team, about not having a creative player in the team blah blah.and then they go 'No' to Ronaldinho.

Juventus probably do lack the funds to buy Ronaldinho.but there was any,and i mean ANY chance of buying him,not having a serious go for his signature would be extremley dumb.I dont care what people say.Ronaldinho is,and will be one of the world's best players for a good couple of years. He's only 26-27.He probably hasnt even reached his actual peak as yet.Judging him from this season(where btw,he hasnt been as horrible as people make him out to be) is foolish.

Form is temporary.Class is permanent.Ronaldinho has a bundle of the latter.

ok, let's not be ridiculous and biased here.

ronaldinho on current form> iaquinta current form and top form, del piero current form, and nedved current form.

ronaldinho top form> anybody in juve top form(including del piero, nedved and camoranesi).

ronaldinho- age 28
camoranesi- age 30
del piero- age 33
nedved- age 35.

some of you are saying he's too expensive. obviously, the management knows more about our financial situation, the team's needs and etc. more than we do. if they buy him, obviously they can afford him.

No primadonnas at Juve, the last one we had was Ibra and nobody was happy with that. Ronaldinho is not Juve material, just like Owen and Gravesen were not Real Madrid material.
