David Luiz is not the wisest of the CBs. He needs calm and stability next to him and at Benfica he was doing pretty much mistakes this season. Luisão was being far better than him, but it seems that the change of airs did good to him.

Don't ship out Bonucci. It's his first season here and he's still somewhat young, so keep him regardless. Get rid of Barzagli.
I just don't see the point of burning Bonucci already. It's fucking nonsense. And why will we spend in a fucking CB? You know what, if Bonucci fails, we'll have Sorensen to test who seems to have a huge potential.

Why waste a lot of money when we have much more positions to cover and also have potential at home?

The only CB I'd take at this point would be Nesta for free as I think it would be good for us and for Bonucci. Not gonna happen, so we better keep Bonucci as a starter.

Which is why Chelsea don't look too secure at the back.

Terry also needs a sensible player beside him (Carvalho) because he is at his best when free to move forward to attack the ball, rather than trying to play sweeper.

Most of the times I've seen Luiz and Terry together there were too much gap between them. What is up with that? They need to fix that before next season.

It's because they are both looking at moving forward to make tackles/interceptions.

Neither one is good at seeing the position of the other CB and tucking in beside or dropping in behind them to provide cover.

May well improve as they play together more and Luiz matures, though.

Anyone got any idea what kinda defender Rolando is? Is he the ball playing defender, his strength and weakness? I hope he is fast though.

He's had terrible positioning at Chelsea in a few games. The two United games being prime examples. Where he should of seen red and then he played Hernandez the ball. There's a reason Ancelotti has dropped him.
Yeah he seems to be responsible for quite a few goals since joining Chelsea, didn't understand the buzz. Not saying he's bad, definitely got the potential.

Him and Hummels are the hot names at CB. No more news about Huston. Still can be bought from the Primavera.

Hummels is a much better option. He does look injury prone, though.

No thank you. We should not give up on Bonucci yet.
Should that mean his sale? It doesn't have to mean.

Clubs should have 3 very good CBs. Barzagli isn't anywhere near that.

Chiellini-Bonucci-Sorensen-Barzagli. I seriously want our next coach to use Sorensen as 3rd CB, he shows great promise and we should use our youth for once. Barzagli as 4th CB is ok.
