"Struggling" as in waiting for Roma to come up with more cash. Someone threw our name in the mix (which makes sense, since we're always interested in free transfers) & that prompted Roma to take care of the matter. Pretty straightforward.

I remain far from convinced that we ever showed a real interest in signing him.
