When you have Cancelo on the right you should be passing horizontally and looking to overload that side with Dybala Cuads and Cancelo. Thats not something hes should get hit with but an Allegri tactic. What did Shaw do all game? Not a damn thing but try to keep that at bay.
Good game

So safe that he treated the ball almost like a hot potato. Didn't bother to try and make a diff. Kept his head down, passed to the guy next to him. And he was the one playing mezzala - farthest fwd CM. Only player who didn't play well in 1st half.

Disappointing game. But tactically, he's always in the right position. Mentally, needs to be in the same zone he was in 1st half vs Real.
How can someone be so wrong. Wow.

He played amazing, some sources claim he was man of the match.

He was and is our only midfielder who actually turns with the ball, unlike what you say.

Pjanic and Berna were at least as sloppy, second half.

He’s good for at least two stupid passes a game but it’s easy to see the talent as well. We have to remember he’s still very young and probably has pockets throughout a game where he loses focus. He’s still relatively composed and should be fine with more experience.

One of his many stupid mistakes in the second half almost cost us a goal. But don’t worry. Bonucci still gets more flack from people here. They’re smarter than Allegri, Guardiola and Mourinho combined.

very good game until he ran out of steam. his calmness is still shockingly surprising sometimes, considering that he's only at the beginning of his second top level season.

I don't recall any severe mistakes nearly costing the game. Bonucci had one. What situation are we talking about?
when he gave away possession and pogba hit the post consequently.

Right, that was a dangerous missed touch. Brilliant by Pogba too.

Thank you. This confirms to everyone he didn't play well.

Megalomaniacs before the game, eulogies about the opponent's worst after after a loss. Standard.

Except in this case they weren't megalomaniacs before the game. Mou managed to suck the life out of them too.
